After opening it’s doors in February 2003, Gianmarco’s quickly grew to be a local favorite in the Birmingham community and the close-knit Homewood neighborhood it calls home. If what you crave is an authentic Italian meal, or selection of several hand-crafted daily specials ranging from grass-fed prime cut ribeyes, to fresh grouper with andouille gumbo, to braised veal ossobuco, your senses will thank you after a dinner with us. Gianmarco’s is proud to be family owned and operated by Giovanni, Giani & Marco Respinto. This team of father and sons has been dedicated to the culinary arts for decades, with a passion that has spanned generations. Gianmarco’s was opened with humble expectations and has become one of the most popular restaurants in Birmingham and even the state. We currently accept reservations for our Main Dining and we welcome walk-ins on a first-come-first-serve basis in both our Front Bar and Wine Bar areas. Order off our full food menu in all areas and pick out one of our 200 bottles of wine we have stocked for retail. We typically book out 1-2 weeks in advance so make sure you give us a call ahead of time! We do not accept online or voicemail reservations. Please make sure you call and confirm your table has been secured.
